50th Birthday of SOE
The 2007 Congress of the European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) will take place in Vienna between 9-12 June 2007 and will mark the 50th Anniversary of the founding of SOE. The American Academy of Ophthalmology ( AAO ) accepted the SOE´s invitation to stage this event as a Joint Meeting, building on the successful model of the joint AAO/SOE Meeting in 2004 in New Orleans.
The IOIS, as one of the major European Sub-specialty Socities, have agreed to be a part of this Congress and will have input into the Scientific Program.
